Thirty Days of Juice! Day 5

Ginger Juice

Makes One Glass

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 small pineapple
  • 1 oz fresh root ginger
  • 1 carrot
  • ice cubes

Directions:

  1. Before preparing the pineapple, turn it upside down and leave it for half an hour. This makes it juicer.
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut away the skin from the pineapple, then half and remove the core. Roughly slice the pineapple flesh. Peal and roughly chop the ginger. Chop the carrot.
  3. Push the carrot, ginger and pineapple through a juicer and pour into a glass.
  4. Add ice cubes and serve immediately.

Health Tip: Fresh root ginger is one of  the best natural cures for indigestion and it helps to settle upset stomachs, whether caused by food poisoning or motion sickness.
