Testimonials: June 2011

A Testimony From Velisa of Hobart, In.

Velisa has been at Creative Health Institute for seven days.  Before coming to Creative Health Institute, Velisa had been fighting breast cancer with traditional western medicine and she was not happy with the results. She will graduate with her 10-Day Detox Certificate on Sunday and she has experienced some amazing changes in the past few days.

” I would definitely recommend (CHI) to other people — the camaraderie, the love and the best part about it is they are not being paid to do what they do. They are sharing and loving toward the guests that come here and it is a life-altering experiencing, a life-changing experience. In society you think  people just don’t care anymore but when you come here, you find that there are still caring, loving and concerned people.”

“When I first came I had two lumps, one in my upper left chest and one in the sternum. By Day 3 the one in my upper left chest had gone down.  It had been about the size of a small egg, now – it is about the size of a quarter.

Velisa, who has had a double mastectomy and undergone two rounds of chemotherapy as well as 65 radiation treatments, was told by her doctor that the lumps were still spots of cancer. The doctor also told her that chemotherapy would no longer prolong her life.

The Raw Living Foods Lifestyle has given her a new hope — and a new energy for life.

“My body feels extremely good. Not only did the program transform my natural body. It was also a mental transformation. It reminds me of the bible where it says, ‘Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.’

“Bobby has taught me how to transform my eating habits to transform my body so my body can heal itself.”

A Testimony From Tim of Peoria, Il.

“My blood pressure went down more than 50 points and I lost nearly 13 pounds in four days… The techniques being introduced of ways to maintain your body and how to care for your body are very helpful… When I had a colonic she said some of that stuff that came out of me had been in there for 20 years. I feel so much lighter and so much healthier and it was an opportunity to meet so many healthier people… I have been given a new lease on life. I want to look forward not back.”

Another testimony from Russ, of Marshall, Mi:

“The day I walked into the Creative Health Institute… well, I actually was hobbling for all of my joints and muscles were so painful, it would bring me to tears if I moved just right. Suffering from high levels of metal toxicity made me very sick and grumpy and I knew in my heart something had to be done. I signed up for the five-day detox program and didn’t know what to expect but understood if I wanted real results, I would have to follow the Ann Wigmore program to the Tee. Let me not mislead anyone, the first three days were very difficult but the support I had from the staff and others who were taking the program offered a hope of a newly sprouting seed and kept my head in the game. On the fourth day when I woke in the morning, I actually sprang out of bed and started moving about the room getting ready for the day and then realized… holy cow! my feet, ankles, knees and hips were virtually pain free! My range of motion had also greatly increased. My heartburn had vanished. My brain seemed to be bright and fogless.  On top of all that good stuff I had lost almost twelve pounds in toxic body weight in five days! Thank you, Ann! Thank you all at Creative Health Institute, for this truly has been a life-changing and educational experience for me.”

A testimony from Julia of Marshall:

“I just completed the 5-day detox at Creative Health Institute and have never felt this vibrant and healthy since childhood. The time I spent at CHI was transforming in the most positive way.  It is a place that overflows with love, giving of self, gratitude, positive energy, health, healing and life. Every day I felt more vibrant, alive and radiant and already after the second day I was excited to get out of bed and feel the blessings of the day. The lethargy I felt from eating the foods I had been eating prior to coming to CHI was eliminated immediately and my energy remained high throughout the day. Minor skin irritations/rashes I had battled with for the last month disappeared within 24 hours from entering the doors at CHI. The staff was so unbelievably inspiring — not only through learning about their own healings but also with their unselfish love and positive support they gave to the guests and their own colleagues. Thank you, thank you, thank you CHI for existing, for giving, for teaching and for life. You will forever be a part of my life.”

Wishing everyone the best day ever,

Learning to Live the Robust Raw Life

Ann Hartenbach of Winneconne Wisconsin had a gentle epiphany on Thursday after breakfast.

It was the day something shifted inside Ann, who has lost 18 pounds since arriving at Creative Health Institute May 1. Following the 10-Day-Detox Program she participated in, Ann became an intern. And this week she’s been getting experience preparing food in our raw kitchen.

She had been through detox programs at CHI in the past and reaped emotional, spiritual and physical rewards from them.  The 10-Day Detox she went through this month was extremely beneficial, too. But the experience she has been gaining behind the scenes in the kitchen since her internship began is really what’s helping Ann take her raw living foods lifestyle to another level.

“The kitchen supervisors create confidence and show how easy the lifestyle can be,” Ann said. “I feel I can go home now and know  what to buy and how long to keep it.”

Ann’s new-found confidence in the kitchen helped her to look at a bowl of leftover oatmeal from breakfast and see a future batch of oatmeal cookies. Before long, Ann was mixing together ingredients from an oatmeal cookie recipe developed for Creative Health Institutes own Master Chef and creator of the Raw Chef Level 1 Certification Class, Bobby Morgan.

Her cookies were a huge hit and other interns were eating them right out of the dehydrator.

It was her first batch of raw cookies. Now that she realizes it’s just as simple to make raw cookies as it is to make baked cookies, Ann expects to be doing quite a bit of “un”baking.

Ann recommends the CHI internship program for budding raw foodists who want to learn more at an accelerated pace.

And for those who can’t commit three months for an internship, she still recommends  the 10-Day Detox program.

“The detox is more than just losing weight. It clears toxins leaving you with a clear head and lighter feeling, ” Ann said.

She is so grateful for all she is learning at Creative Health Institute — and for her new confidence to continue the lifestyle when she returns home.

“Good tasting healthy food is in abundance,” Ann said. “Healthy food does not have to be without flare, spice and richness.”

Illinois Pastor Experiences Lazarus-Like Transformation At Creative Health Institute

“I can shout this thing from the mountain top.
It works.” ~ Rev. Eddie Hodges

A
few times during the weeks before Rev. Eddie Hodges visited Creative Health Institute he and his wife, Linda, worried he didn’t have long left in this world – unless a miracle happened.

Eddie had been in bed, barely able to move, for seven weeks. He couldn’t even brush his teeth, let alone stand up in the shower. His wife and children were beside themselves with worry despite their strong faith. Eddie has been the pastor of the Church of God on Maple Road in Joliet, Illinois for 16 years.

Finally an older doctor who promised not to prescribe drugs until he figured out the problem admitted Eddie to the hospital and ordered a complete round of tests. Weeks earlier Eddie saw an emergency room doctor who told him he wanted to treat him very heavily with drugs to knock out whatever was causing the symptoms. That doctor only wanted to treat the symptoms, Eddie said. He didn’t feel like the doctor really cared enough to figure out what was going on with him; so he threw away the drug prescriptions and stayed at home trying to recuperate with the love and assistance of his wife. No matter how long he rested under the loving care of his wife, his symptoms did not improve.

“He couldn’t do anything himself. Weight was falling off him daily. You looked at him one day and the next day it was a drastic change,” Linda said.  “We had to spoon feed him. I would have to help him to the bathtub and then get on my knees and wash him up.”

It had all started with a virus of some sort. His kids had it, too. But they recuperated after a few days. Eddie just got worse and worse. Finally Eddie visited the office of a doctor who seemed to really care about what was going on with him. He looked in Eddie’s blank eyes, took his blood pressure and told Eddie he couldn’t risk examining him any further at his office. Eddie was just too sick and needed to go to the hospital right away. On his fifth day as a patient after a battery of tests, the doctor told him he had septic blood, liver disease and an enlarged prostate. He gave Eddie a list of medications he could start taking to improve his condition. And then the old gentleman doctor sat back and looked Eddie right in the eyes.

“And he said, ‘but eating right could correct these problems.’” Eddie said with a happy look that seemingly mirrored the epiphany he had at the very moment the kindly physician leveled with him.  “That’s what the doctor said!”

When the doctor leveled with Eddie about the fact that he could improve his eating habits for better health, the Hodges knew just what to do.  Linda Hodges already had been to Creative Health Institute for a detox program and through the raw living food traditions of Dr. Ann Wigmore had healed the sciatic nerve problem that had been causing her severe pain for many months.

She had taken some of the things she had learned home with her when she left CHI. For instance; she and Eddie quite frequently had been drinking green energy smoothies for breakfast.  But when Eddie’s work life became extremely stressful because he was pastoring two churches in two states, some of his healthy habits slipped away. He wasn’t sleeping. And the stressful lifestyle apparently created the environment in which illness took hold.

As soon as the Hodges knew what the problem was – and that better dietary habits could help, they checked Eddie out of the hospital and packed up for a trip to detox at Creative Health Institute. It wasn’t an easy three and a half hour ride in the car for Eddie, who had trouble getting in and out of the car – let alone trying to walk.

“I could barely walk in through the door. I had no energy. I had no strength. I could barely move,” Eddie said.

The first night at Creative Health Institute, Eddie was able to eat some raw lasagna and a salad for dinner. But he didn’t have the energy to do an enema as guests typically do before going to bed. The next morning he got up and ate raw organic berries for breakfast – with green energy smoothie. He rested quite a bit during the next few days but could also feel his energy coming back. He started participating in morning rebounding exercises on the miniature trampolines with other guests.

And on the fifth day at CHI he walked outside for a whole mile.

Since then he’s been walking and rebounding every day. Days before the Hodges returned home following their three-week stay at Creative Health Institute, Eddie was highly energetic during morning rebounding and inspiring everyone – including the class teacher – to “do more jumping jacks.” His balance was great. His voice was loud and clear — and there was joy in his eyes that might make you think about Lazarus in the bible.

“God showed mercy on me,” Eddie said. “This way of eating is awesome. It is beyond your imagination. It is mind blowing how you can just eat properly and it will correct issues in your body.

“I can shout this thing from the mountain top. It works.”

Linda said she overjoyed that her husband’s health has returned and happy about his new commitment to the raw living foods lifestyle.

She said they’ll be back at Creative Health Institute again.

“This truly is a haven of rest,” she said.

Sending love and blessingsto all our friends and family

CHI DETOX – Family Style

Jimmy Ehrhart, 15

Jessica Ehrhart, 12

Standing in front of a small group of Creative Health Institute guests with a Sharpie in hand and a smile on his face, Jimmy Ehrhart, 15, recorded numbers on a large pad of paper propped upon an easel.

“I feel great right now,” Jimmy told the other guests who were going through a 10-day detox with him. It was the beginning of Day 8 and relief had come for Jimmy and others who had experienced the typical uncomfortable symptoms people have when they withdraw from sugar, caffeine, high-protein and high-fat foods.  “I feel better than I have ever felt—honestly.”

The Camden, Michigan, teen was front-and-center for the morning and happy about the progress everybody was making  with the detox. Jimmy came to CHI with his younger sister, older brother, mother and grandfather. All of them wanted to make significant changes to their diets and health. They decided to go raw after reading books such as Victoria Boutenko’s Raw Family and watching videos including Thirty Days Raw.  Now that their detox at CHI is nearly complete, the family agrees visiting our nutritional education center in Hodunk, Michigan,  has been one of the the best things they’ve ever done together.

Jessica Ehrhart, 12, said she plans to spread the word about the great time she’s had with her family and new friends at  Creative Health Institute.

“I would like to see lots of families come here. I wish everyone in the world could do it because then everyone would just be healthy,” Jessica said. “Fast foods are gross!”

After seeing the videos and reading the books his mother exposed the family to in preparation of their detox, Jimmy still was a bit skeptical about how much a raw food diet could affect him. He was willing to give raw living foods a try because he had some health concerns and wanted to see what a difference the Ann Wigmore way of life could make. Jimmy said for several years he has suffered from asthma, allergies, trouble sleeping, snoring and being overweight.  It’s been tough for him to join the fun and games kids his age typically enjoy.

“I couldn’t play sports.  My friends, they all try to run around town and I have a hard time keeping up to them with the asthma, ” Jimmy said. “It is embarrassing to stay over a friend’s house because I snore so loud.”

Now Jimmy feels a new hope and expects he’ll be able to participate more fully in teenage activities he sees others enjoy.  His snoring stopped right away. He’s been sleeping well every night and his asthma hasn’t been bothering him at all.  He’s been exercising every day and says he feels hopeful that he’ll be able to keep up with his friends in basketball, football and baseball. He has always tried to participate in sports but due to his health issues he has spent most of his time on the bench.

Jimmy also had a problem with food allergies.  He said he especially seemed to be allergic to nuts, particularly cashews. At CHI he has found he can eat all different kinds of nuts without any allergic reaction. He said he believes it’s because he had been eating nuts that were not organic and all of the food at the center is organic.  He said he was really happy to learn that eating a raw food diet doesn’t mean a life-sentence of “boring salads.” He was especially impressed with a raw cashew-cheese-based blueberry cheesecake an intern made one night for a CHI guest who was celebrating her birthday during the detox.

Jessica said all along she was excited to come to the Creative Health Institute with her family. She said she knew she needed to make some changes in her life and she was ready to move forward.

“I would like to improve my asthma and coming here definitely helped it,” she said. “I was always on the couch. I couldn’t breathe so I always had to have an inhaler wherever I went. It is really horrible.”

Jessica hasn’t had to use her inhaler once during the 10-day detox.  On day eight she reported feeling better than she has felt in a very long time. She said she has “tons” of energy and now she can breath without wheezing — something she hasn’t been able to do since she was a small child.

One of Jessica’s favorite things about the 10-day detox at CHI has been the cooking lessons. Jessica helped make marinara sauce to serve at dinner one night and she said she was surprised by how simple and tasty it was. She also has enjoyed rebounding (jumping on a miniature trampoline) in the morning and sitting in the banya (our Russian-style sauna). She said she really wants to come back for the raw chef classes to learn how to make gourmet raw living foods.

Jimmy and Jessica’s mother, Kimberly Ehrhart, said she’s very happy her family came to CHI together to detox with raw living food. She’s eager for her next visit and suggesting to staff that she’d like to see a CHI reunion for guests in the summer.

“I would highly suggest the 10-day detox,” Kimberly said.  “It’s more than cleansing for your body and mind, and it’s more than just new relationships — it’s family.”

Testimonial To The Power Of This Amazing Diet, CHI & Dr. Ann Wigmore

Dear Bobby,

Where can I ever find the words to ever express my gratitude to Ann? I am still alive and have my organs inside of my body rather than in some medical waste disposal site because I came to the Creative Health Institute, MI, a year ago. Bobby, I cannot thank you sufficiently for keeping her teachings alive. If I had the resources at my disposal, I too would open a facility just like CHI and spread her message of healing. Her method when implemented in totality is like unleashing the powerful force of the Sun within the body! It is based upon purification of the blood through Sunshine. How grand are her teachings! How simple they are so that one may implement them within one’s home or even within an apartment! It calls for no drugs, no diagnosis, no expensive treatments, no surgery etc so simple and yet so very powerful. It only calls for food of the “right” kind. The “right” kind of food is the key, which modern medicine and the government agencies have missed out on completely.

The universities and the Nobel Prize committee have all furthered the propaganda that drugs and surgery heal. Instead of promoting the idea that the body’s natural state is of perfect health, they promote the idea that disease is natural to the body and it must be treated accordingly, even if it calls for removal of body parts. How completely of the mark they are in their view of the body. I like Ann’s method so much because one never need pay visits to physicians, even those that practice alternate medicine.

One is put solely in charge one one’s health. It is a tremendous responsibility on oneself to know that every morsel of food that enters one’s mouth will either build diseased and decaying cells or alive and luminous cells. Her teachings have had to have their origin in divine inspiration to be so effective. It is only divine inspiration that produces intuitive knowledge which has the power to cut through all the complex clutter of the mind based knowledge upon which modern medicine and nutrition is founded. I know for certain that if I implement her teachings in totality for the rest of my life, I will pass away without illness — chronic, degenerative or terminal. This is indeed no trivial blessing! After all the human body can be the primary source of suffering when it falls into a diseased state. One only need visit a hospital for a few minutes to see the inexorable misery it is capable of producing. Thank you very much Bobby. Bye, Mangi

NY Times Corroborates Claims By Mike Anderson’s DVD “Healing Cancer From the Inside Out”

Dear Bobby,
This news article in the NY Times fully corroborates the claims made by Mike Anderson in his DVDs titled “Healing Cancer From the Inside Out” and “Eating”.  In those DVDs, he claimed that the regulatory agencies of the the government, at the highest levels had been infilterated by former execs of big agribusiness.  This is why the regulatory agencies such as the USDA and FDA were responsible for establishing dietary standards that pushed more poultry, dairy, meat, protein and such on the unwary population, all of which has caused prevalent obesity epidemic and chronic, degenerative and terminal conditions.  This is a very tragic situation and clearly indicates the clout that the big agribusiness commands.  These people, coupled with the American Medical Association, are responsible for the biggest “legal” geonocide in the history of this planet.

Bobby, after recovering through Ann Wigmore’s Living Foods Lifestyle, I have lost total faith in all modern institutions established by the powers that be, which include government, universities, politicians, judiciary etc.  These people are all blind and are being led by the blind whose only motive in life is to increase the revenue they rake in.  Even if it be at the cost of the lives of billions of people.  The standards established by these institutions in America are then copied by government agencies and medical institutions around the world.  Each day my appreciation for Ann Wigmore’s Living Foods Lifestyle grows steadily.  She has cut through the entire barrage of falsehood and unearthed the truth at its very core!  I thank you without end for keeping her teaching alive despite the amount of misguiding propaganda flooding the world by these various modern man made institutions.  Ann Wigmore was a saint and her grace shines upon me.  Her views on the Spirit are in total conformity to that of the eastern sages.  I love Ann no end even though I never met her.  I read her writings with the same love and interest as I do those of the sages and saints.  Without good health it is impossible to follow the spiritual path.  This is why the sages have declared, “Health first, God next!”  Without good health, one cannot muster the energy or courage to break through the barrier of matter into the world of the immortal spirit.  Bobby, I again claim that the Creative Health Institute, Union City, MI, is built upon hallowed ground.  I consider it to be as sacred as the Vatican, if not more.

Chef Class Testimonials

September 5, 2010

My participation at Raw Chef I this weekend was a most wonderful experience. Since I have started on my new journey embracing the “Raw Foods” lifestyle, I have introduced to a naturally healthy way of life. The foods that have been presented are “amazing!” My transition to this way of eating will not be the challenge I anticipated. Everything from the guacamole to the garden burgers are a very welcomed taste! I have been well educated and equipped with the tools to integrate the lifestyle smoothly. Thank you Bobby and CHI staff for your love, patience, and knowledge. ~ C.B.

As usual, CHI is a fabulous place for healing. Magnificent staff and there are always huge benefits to a visit... a great weekend, beautiful learning in a wonderful place. ~ K. S.

The Raw Chef I class has been a tremendous blessing to me and will be to my family and friends, they’re all very excited! My husband and kids have been asking a lot of questions and everybody wants a demonstration. What  really love about this class is how simple it is. I really hope to stress this point when I do a demonstration. Raw food is simple and tastes great! I love art and food! Raw food is beautiful – all of the bright colors make it so easy for a simple and beautiful presentation! I love it! ~ Annie

I enjoyed the classes. The food was wonderful, the staff just great.~ M.D.

I enjoyed the Raw Chef I experience immensely! It was fun! The food was delicious. I loved the welcoming buffet! It was a bit of a shock to see how entertaining in the raw could be so delightful to friends and families who aren’t “raw.” The chocolate frosting – the macaroons -the pizza – the amazing hot fudge banana sundaes! All excruciatingly delicious. I was constantly surprised at how scrumptious and easy the recipes are to make. In addition, we were educated by the knowledgeable Bobby who humorously spiced up the demonstrations with experiences from his personal journey through the raw living food world and who helped us to understand the nutrient content of the foods we prepared and how they could play a role in our healing and leading energetic, purposeful lives! ~ J.V.

It was great the way everyone was included in the preparation of the food and the appreciation of those who were unable to participate.

The Raw Chef I class  is going to prepare me for raw living and I can only say, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” The tools I am taking home from this course leave me with no room for excuses! I am anxious to share these recipes with my friends and family knowing that I will have a part in improving their health with yummy “live” foods. Of course I will be looking for ways to attend Raw Chef II very soon! ~ V.S.

I love you! You are the best! Raw food Chef I opened my eyes to eating in a manner that zaps the stress! No more counting calories, now more diet craziness – I can eat like a queen and keep my self-esteem. The food like garden burgers and zucchini spaghetti have my heart all a flutter! Thank, thank you, thank you – for I am truly grateful! (P.S. I love the love that emanates [here] you have shown me it’s not too late! ~ I.R.W.

I love the Chef I course. I’m learning the nuances which prove beneficial! The class is fun. The chefs are fun and funny. I’m learning to make seed cheese, spaghetti zucchini, granola, pancakes, almond milk, butter, syrup, ketchup, mustard, mayo, burgers, stuffed mushrooms and many more [dishes]. I’m eating living foods to live and the tastes are spectacular. I love informal (and professional) training. We received professional training in a loving atmosphere. I would like to participate in Chef II and Chef III courses! ~ D.C.

To be exposed to such great flavors, textures, smells, and beautifully presented dishes makes my mouth ready and salivating for the next eating adventure in the raw food world. I can’t get enough and this class only whets the appetite. There is more to come and oh, what a healthy adventure this will be. ~ M.M.

This has been an incredible experience. What we have learned here, from foods and nutrition to alternative therapies for cancer, diabetes and other disease processes, is all evidence based. I will be returning for more education and healing. ~ A.B.

It’s been an amazing experience! I have learned to much and really want to come back for detox…I am really excited to improve my health. Everyone here has been so loving and supportive and I knew I was meant to be here and I cannot wait to come back. In fact, I really don’t want to leave. I knew driving here in such a rush that I was meeting my new family. (P.S. I learned my lesson about wheatgrass and it was most excellent!) Lots of love and infinite blessings! ~ G.C.

I’ve only been here for one day and I have noticed a feeling of well being [that]everyone exhibits. The demos are informative and seeing things prepared helps us with texture. Showing knife skills and kitchen short cuts helps those with no experience in cooking or kitchen experience.

The raw chef course introduced me to the tasty, gourmet aspect of living foods. During the 10 day detox, I learned how to sprout, make rejuvelac, and energy soup. For a number of days I only ate energy soup and drank rejuvelac. On the days when I ate something more, it was mainly salads and variations on salad. It was edible. It was good for me. Then came the Raw Chef experience! The first meal we had was a gazpacho soup and I couldn’t believe how good it was, we continued with other delicious meals, e.g. zucchini pasta with marinara sauce, garden burgers and to my delight, the best chocolate cake! I was especially gratified to learn that chocolate consumption was encouraged because of the high antioxidant content of cocoa. All in all, the meals were delicious and my appreciation for raw living food was revolutionized.

The food was so good and so healthy that the possibility of actually eating this way became realistic. The course included numerous demonstrations that I found very instructive and it gave me the feeling that preparation could be done without difficulty. I gained an understanding of the implements that are used to prepare these meals. Overall, I’m quite happy to be exposed to this knowledge and to know that it’s accessible to me – thanks. ~ JR

This chef I class has been a wonderful start for my new future with raw food. I needed this class for new ideas and to help me to be able to feed my family and friends with new food choices and fresh ideas. Being here at CHI has really opened my eyes, my mind, and spiritual path. I’ve felt so much love, peace, and joy since I’ve been here and I look forward to coming back for many years to grow even more and to help when ever I can. Thank so much for being here for me and my family. ~ D.C.

This has been an amazing weekend. I have met some awesome people and have learned some wonderful recipes. I am now able to take this information back to my area and share it with as many people as I possibly can. I have also had the opportunity to learn from others and grow as a person in every area of my life.

The smoked pepper cheese log was AWESOME! It joined with the crecker to beat down the hunger as a crime-fighting duo and also managed to find the time to party with the taste buds of your mouth until they experienced pure untainted happiness! CHI is full of kind people trying to achieve a comon goal. In the short time I’ve spent here it has become evident to me that the support system here is strong and it is what creates a strong foundation for people to embark on their raw food journey. This place really helps people. My little eleven-year-old sister is a type one diabetic who was taking between 5 and 6 units of Lantis a night. After staying here she has gone down to taking zero units! Miraculous events happen here. People come here to walk on the road of recovery so they can step closer and closer to a cure. CHI has filled my family with hope after traditional doctors tried tirelessly to take it away. I have seen the change in my sister’s face. I see her radiating an aura of health. I know she is constantly progressing and I believe CHI can use their magic to completely cure her.

I have enjoyed learning the different dishes that can be made using all natural ingredients. I do believe that there is a market to be developed in this country to show us all that we don’t have to go with the “norm.” That those things we feel we must give up to stay healthy with out food intake can be made a different way and be made the way nature intended for it to be [consumed]. I truly believe this is the way we as Americans should live. ~ J.B.C.

If you never ever plan to incorporate 100% raw and living foods or even a small percentage at first, you still have to treat yourself to a little heven on earth – CHI’s raw, living foods Chef I certification weekend. Not only do you get a chance to meet like-minded people on the road to health, but you will get an opportunity to experience a large array of every day and gourmet recipes. This is truly a loving journey to do “Dessert Research” as you feed your heart and soul with banana splits (frozen bananas), walnut-date balls, coconut macaroons and “too good” chocolate balls dipped in chocolate fudge. To eat this dessert is to make a decision to live forever. But don’t forget to learn how to make the best lunch this side of heaven – garden burgers with mustard, ketchup, and mayo, and kale chips. Now you are on your way. Love yourself and eat well! ~ B.B.
